Weekend in Perth Australia this Weekend

Palm Nights Ft. What So Not + Anna Lunoe | Metro City

Formerly a duo with Flume, What So Not released their first EP back in 2011. After Flume’s departure from the project in 2015, What So Not continued to make waves across the globe – playing at some of the world’s most popular music festivals, including Coachella and Lollapalooza. What So Not continues Factory Summer Festival’s stellar line-up this weekend at Metro City. If you can’t get to the Friday show, there’s also a Saturday show, so you don’t have to miss out!

Scarborough Blok Party | Indian Ocean Hotel

Head towards the big blue this Saturday as the Indian Ocean Hotel and car park transforms into a full-venue party. There’s 3 separate stages playing live music, disco and house so no matter what you prefer to boogie to, they’ve got your covered. Do a little shopping at the market stalls, grab a bev and bites and enjoy the very first Scarborough Blok Party.

Pleasures Disco | Aberdeen Pl, West Perth

Summer lives on this Saturday as Lovebird and Pleasures throw the ultimate disco-fuelled day party for all your dancing pleasures. Some of Perth’s finest disco tune selectors will be behind the decks, providing the very best boogie beats. Doors from 4pm.

Kids Big Carnival | Wanneroo Showgrounds

School holidays are here! Whether you’re a parent, aunty, uncle, cousin or friend, round up the troops and head to Wanneroo Showgrounds this weekend. There’s plenty of rides and activations to keep kids and adults entertained, including roving entertainers, food stalls, carnival rides and much more.

Brazilian Beach Carnaval & Parade | Scarborough Ampitheatre

The streets of Rio come to the heart of Scarborough Beach to embrace the true taste of Brazil’s iconic Carnaval. Perth’s biggest Brazilian drumming groups will create sights and sounds to set the rhythm on route. Feast on Brazilian food and drink, stay entertained by jaw-dropping samba dancers in full costume or get active with beach sports. There’s something for everyone at this FREE event!

Afternoon Delights | The Standard

There’s nothing quite like spending your Saturday arvo sipping on rose, gin, sours & cider and getting merry with mates. DJ’s will be behind the decks, taking care of the vibe, so be prepared to have a boogie after a few bevvies.

PURE Perth Launch Party | Geisha Bar

If you like techno then this one’s for you! Perth’s biggest techno party, PURE, returns on Anzac Day Eve this month. And, to get you all a little hyped about it, Perth’s home of house is hosting a launch party this Saturday. A curated selection of top-shelf techno tastemakers will be laying down a few hours of power from 11pm onwards.

Birds of Tokyo | Hotel Rottnest

Perth’s homegrown alt-rock band head across to Rottnest Island this Sunday, presented by Coopers Live. Perch up for the day at Hotel Rottnest and enjoy the beautiful beach-side scenery as Birds of Tokyo take the stage and set the vibe.
