F.RE.O Fashion Festival Brings Sustainable Style to Fremantle This October

Fremantle is getting a fashionable makeover this October with the first-ever F.RE.O Fashion Festival, a one-day event celebrating local designers, vintage fashion and sustainable style.

Taking place on Saturday 17 October 2026, the festival will bring runway shows, pre-loved fashion markets, workshops and creative activities to different locations across Fremantle.

Whether you love fashion, enjoy finding vintage treasures or simply want something different to do on the weekend, there’s plenty to discover.

Fashion Takes Over Fremantle

The festival will feature three free runway shows, each showcasing a different side of fashion.

The Re:Imagine Runway kicks things off at 11am at Walyalup Koort, featuring upcycled clothing, vintage pieces and wearable art.

At 12:30pm, The Pre-Loved Parade will bring a lively fashion showcase to Henderson Street Mall, outside Fremantle Markets.

The final show, Re:Volutionise, begins at 2pm at Walyalup Koort, highlighting emerging designers, fashion students and creative approaches to sustainable fashion.

Shop Vintage and Pre-Loved Fashion

Love a good vintage find? Head to the Pre-Loved Market x FOMO Freo, running from 11am to 3pm.

With more than 100 sellers offering vintage clothing, streetwear, designer pieces and pre-loved fashion, it’s a great opportunity to refresh your wardrobe while shopping more sustainably.

There will also be local DJs and food nearby, making it an easy place to spend part of your afternoon.

Get Creative With Fashion

Beyond the runway shows and shopping, visitors can take part in workshops and activities focused on giving clothes a second life.
