Planet Royale- The Final Funtier

Planet Royale is set to take the Perth entertainment scene to unprecedented, inter-galactic heights with its multi-purpose venue opening Friday 20th August.

Located in the old IMAX Northbridge cinema, it only makes sense that the core of Planet Royale pays tribute to some of the greatest classics. The whole experience is like stepping into a time capsule.. from the Tardis of Dr Who fame, a spectacular assortment of pinball machines, a diner inspired by Pulp Fiction infamy, all the way to our murals of music and film legends of the past.

Keeping the sentimental elements of the old cinema like the carpet, movie posters and even a theatre–the space is home to Pulp Kitchen; a post American diner that would have had Vincent Vega drooling. Barcadia; an arcade bar boasting a truly extraordinary collection of pinballs and arcades dating back to the 70s. Major Tom’s; a cocktail bar paying tribute to departed rock ‘n’ roll legends and their humble garage beginnings to super-stardom atop Madison Square Garden, and of course, The Royale Theatre.

You’re going to want to check out the delish staple dishes at Pulp Kitchen. Some of the highlights include the chicken wing burger, loaded potato gems,pulled pork waffle, New York cheesecake, and of course, the Royale with Cheese. This post-Americana menu is set to impress.

The bev menu is just as impressive! From boozy shakes, 20+beers and selected cocktails on tap, a bespoke cocktail menu consisting of premium spirits,house-made syrups, and infusions, backed with some excellent independent wine makers. This place might just make a rookie of you again.
