4–6 September 2026 | Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre
Spring is just around the corner, and if you’re already dreaming about getting back out on the water, the Perth Boat Show is arriving at just the right time. Taking over Pavilions 1–6 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 September, the three-day show is bringing together boats, fishing gear, marine technology, live demonstrations and plenty of inspiration for your next adventure on the water. And with the final day falling on Father’s Day, you’ve got a pretty good excuse to bring Dad along too.
Boats, Gear & Everything In Between
Whether you’re a seasoned boatie, keen angler, looking for your first boat or simply curious about what’s new on the water, there’ll be plenty to explore. Across six pavilions, visitors can check out everything from family-friendly trailer boats and high-performance watercraft to fishing equipment, navigation gear, marine accessories and the latest technology from across the boating industry. With exhibitors covering boat builders, sailing, fishing, water sports, tourism, insurance, equipment and more, it’s an easy way to see a huge slice of WA’s boating world without having to travel all over town.
Pick Up a Few Skills While You’re There
It’s not all about browsing the boats. Head over to the Boat Shed Stage throughout the weekend for live demonstrations and Sea Safe sessions designed to help visitors build their knowledge and confidence on the water. You can also catch Perth is OK! On Deck with Pete, with Pete Curulli roaming the show floor, meeting exhibitors and checking out some of the newest products and innovations making their way into the marine world. You might arrive looking for a new bit of gear and leave knowing a whole lot more about boating than you did before.
Bring the Little Nippers
Got the kids in tow? They haven’t been forgotten. Little Nippers Cove will be running free kids’ activities from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, giving younger visitors something of their own to get stuck into while the grown-ups explore the show. There’s also food available throughout the event, while the over-18s can make a stop at the Skippers Bar when it’s time to take a break from wandering the pavilions.
Make a Day of Father’s Day
This year’s show wraps up on Sunday 6 September — Father’s Day, and there’s a little extra planned for the dads. The first 250 dads through the doors on Sunday can choose a free gift, with options including coffee, a Perth Boat Show stubby holder, cap or fishing shirt. There’ll also be giveaways and activities happening throughout the day, so if Dad would rather spend Father’s Day looking at boats than opening another pair of socks, you know where to take him.
Knock Off Early on Friday
Can’t make a full weekend day of it? Friday might be your best bet. The show stays open until 7pm on Friday 4 September, with discounted entry available from 3.30pm, making it an easy after-work option for anyone keen to have a wander without giving up their Saturday or Sunday. And don’t forget to enter the door prize while you’re there — you never know what you might leave with.
